[Brompfication] Easy Wheels
The Easy Wheels are designed so you can pull the folded Brompton when in transit. The Easy Wheels have a slimmer design then the original Brompton plastic cone wheel, in order to reduce the risk of your trousers getting caught by the wheels when pedalling.
The Easy Wheels are made in 6061-T6 aluminium, and are fitted with special manufactured polyurethane tires, that ensure a smooth roll. Polyurethane is the same material used for skate wheels, and has an excellent abrasion resistance. The tires have a new profile that ensure they stay on the rim, also when making tight turns.
The wheels come with titanium bolts, and a set of Easy Wheel only weight 27 grams more than the original plastic cone wheels from Brompton and less then half the weight of a set of inline skate wheels!
This version of our Easy Wheel are for mounting on the frame of the bike.
